9th grade students in our 21st Century Skills & Careers course had the opportunity to explore various health career options with the help of Adrienne Cross of the Hudson Mohawk Area Health Education Center (AHEC). Students also assessed their career interests with NY Career Zone (www.careerzone.ny.gov). Junior Seminar students participated in a two day "Career Direction" assessment with civilian representative Tony DeSen of Career Training Concepts. Sgt. Glendon Crawford and Sgt. David Dormann of the NY National Guard assisted with the presentation. Students learned about their personality styles and investigated inventory results through O*NET.
