Kristin McLain

Kristin grew up near Lake Michigan in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. She received a BS in Chemistry from James Madison University, and a MS in Chemistry from Western Carolina University. After working as a research chemist in Ohio, a return to Virginia brought an opportunity to teach Chemistry and Physics at Alleghany County High School.
She came to Keene Central School in 2007, as a part-time Chemistry and Physics teacher. In 2009, she added Math certification and became a full-time teacher at KCS.
Kristin spends her free time keeping up with her four children and five grandchildren. She enjoys playing trumpet and horn, and living in the Adirondacks!
