Amanda Patenaude

Amanda Patenaude is the high school Special Education teacher at KCS.

Before arriving at KCS in 1998, she taught middle school and elementary school classes in New York and out of state. Amanda has a BA degree in Sociology and an MA degree in Special Education.

Originally from Plattsburgh, Amanda makes her home in Jay with her husband and two children. When she is not teaching, Amanda likes to travel and read. She also enjoys the musical gatherings of extended family.

“I enjoy helping students master new skills, pass state exams and graduate. Because of the small class sizes at Keene Central School, I really get to know the students.”
