The 6th Annual Super Scientific Science Slam is planned for Thursday March 9th!!  This is an exciting evening for students, families and the local community to enjoy and explore the marvelous world of science!  There will be fun for all ages, including demonstrations, hands on activities and displays of students' science projects.

There are many ways you can get involved with the Science Slam!  Participation from students, families and the community makes this event a success.  If you are interested in taking part in this exciting event, please or register online ( or complete a Science Slam registration form by March 1st.

There will be three Science Slam workshops held on: Tuesday February 7th, Thursday February 16th and Thursday March 2nd.  These workshops are from 3-4 PM in Science Room 221.  Students (grades 4-12) are welcome to attend to receive assistance with their projects.  Students should bring their questions, ideas and/or materials to these workshops.  If any adults or older students are interested in helping out with these workshops, please contact Mary Werner at
