Entrepreneurship
The Business program at Keene Central School is evolving. Our goal is to provide students with the knowledge and the skills necessary for college; to prepare students to directly enter the world of work; to give students information helpful in carrying on personal business affairs; and to prepare students to make informed economic decisions in life.
Entrepreneurship is a new, optional sequence of courses designed to prepare students for self-employment as small business owners. The sequence of courses includes a combination of business courses, community resources (guest speakers etc.) and the use of appropriate and relevant computer applications.
Entrepreneurial Studies is a new, full year course designed for seniors. It is the culminating course in the business sequence as follows:
Introduction to Business
Accounting
Business Law and Ethics
Entrepreneurial Studies
All courses are one year / one credit.
