I'm proud to be a
I originally hail from Wales Center, located in Western New York. I earned my Bachelor's of Science and Elementary Certification at Buffalo State College. Later, I pursued a Master's Degree in Special Education at St. Bonaventure University. My career in education began in Hamburg, N.Y. where I taught fourth grade. Years later the Rocky Mountains lured me to Colorado where I taught grades two, three and five. In 2009 I accepted a position supporting the Teacher Learning Center at the Teton Science Schools in Jackson, WY. Living in the west created wonderful and lasting memories. Ultimately, I was drawn back to familiar territory. In 2010 I followed my heart back to the New York landing closer to family and old friends. I feel fortunate to be part of this close-knit community.
