KCS Drama Productions

Students have an opportunity to participate in full scale drama productions every other year at Keene Central School. A musical is produced in the off-year by the music department.

Auditions are held for the major roles but no high school student has ever been refused a part in a play at Keene Central School. The productions consist of 25-35 cast members.

Parts have been added and group scenes have been created with dance, movement and dialogue, so that every student has a chance to be in a major production.

Since 1996, directors Joy McCabe (English) and Bob Andrews have added music and movement to enhance the productions.
