Joanne Whitney

Joanne Whitney is the 4th grade teacher.

She has been teaching at KCS since 1977. Joanne has also taught AIS Reading, Writing and Math (K-12) and was previously the 5 th grade teacher.

Joanne was born and raised in Keene (7 th generation). She is also a member of the New York State Academy of Teachers and Learners and was the recipient of the KCS National Honor Society’s Citizen’s Award. Joanne has a BS degree in Elementary Education, an MS degree in Reading and has completed many additional post-graduate hours.
