Board of Education - Kathy Smith

Kathy is in her second term on the KCS Board and still finds the job not only interesting, but also fulfilling because, "Keene Central has a can do attitude, and that gets so many good things done.”

Mrs. Smith has two children in the school, Tiger and Cougar, works as a wildlife consultant, educator and advocate, and is back in school herself after 25 years, attending the Environmental Studies PhD program at Antioch University in Keene, New Hampshire. Kathy gives her husband Tom credit for doing just about everything else that keeps a family afloat.
